Alright...my Creative Xtreme Gamer card is being stupid, and no matter what speaker setting I've got it at, it won't put a sound signal out of the ports that should be used for rear surround and subwoofer.
I'm reinstalling the drivers just to be safe, but if anyone's got a solution for this, that'd be great.

the drivers is what comes to mind first, and if that doesn't work, check if there's a newer driver version.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>
