phoenix, you seem to have absolutely no idea what your talking about, so if what I linked you too can't help (It can)...then your best bet is to ring up technical support for either xbox live, or whoever's running your network.
Otherwise, at the rate this is going, we're looking at the biggest page-spanner in history...

Your xbox is like a computer. I really dumb computer that won't play your collection of DivX movies...
If it cannot configure the networt setting you do not have your HOME NETWORK setup properly, if at all. >_> And for the love of god tell me your not using crossover cables with a router, or something similarly dumb.
Please. Phone 1-800-4MY-XBOX. Please. Tape your phonecall. I NEED a good laugh. Get one of thier geeks on the phone, and do NOT, I repeat: DO NOT let him go until that 360 is working. Now go phone them!

Yep if that did'nt work for him chances are he has a defective ethernet port or XBL dos'nt like him.-DeToX- wrote:Okay not getting an IP, DNS, etc.
Heres what you do. Start->Control panel->Network Connections.
Right click your internet then click properties, go to the advanced tab,
And make sure all these are checked.
Then click Okay and restart your internet, then your xbox.
Worked for me before.

No , i dont recieve answer... ok here are my settings and what im doing to fail :
Ok first im turn on my xbox without disc in it and here i am :

, first choose "Xbox live".After that i select "New Account" :

, Then : "Could not connect to xbox live.Do you want to troubleshoot your network connection?" and i click yes :

, after that i wait for a second and the first one - Cables connected is OK :

, but when i wait for about a 10-20 seconds after the first one i get this : "Network Services : (DHCP or PPPoE)were not found... and ofcourse the IP is not confirmed


and that is it.And here are my settings :
-IP Settings :

-DNS Settings :

-PPPoE Settings :

-Advanced Settings :
(i have wrote my MAC address settings but here i have deleted them)...Any Ideas?!?!If you can help - I dont know how can i thank.Thanks for the help in advice.
