Halo CE Text no longer shows up

This sort of problem is kinda like the MSXLMenu, except I've installed and reinstalled that, but the text doesn't show up still. No body's messages show up, and I can't type (black bar shows, though).

How do I fix this?

I know it's pretty basic, but you could try reinstalling the game. Do messages show up in regular Halo?

Ah crap, there's a certain file you run... I cant remember the name, gimme a sec, I'll look it up.

EDIT: Ah, I remember now. Run this file:

Oh... Wait... I just read your whole post. Looks like you've tried that... Try re-installing Halo CE.. I guess?
