How can I compress a video?

Are there any tutorials out there? What program would I use?

I would suggest using a program called VirtualDub or "VDub" for short. It compresses files from Fraps and really anything else into multiple compression types. IE: DivX 6.

check out what video format has best compression and see if you can convert it to that. othwerise, .rar it or somethign.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

That just takes more time.

With VirtualDub, I got a 2gig video file from Fraps and compressed it to 200meg with DivX 6 compression. So that should be your best bet.

Yeah, i don't compress videos really ever, but I remember hearing that a lot of them don't compress that well, divx would be a good bet though.

If you're wondering Coco, here's the download link to VirtualDub.
