Not true. If you're looking for decent, low-price software, try Pinnacle Video Editing Software.

Yes, but that's not the best. It's low-price, maybe $40. High-range software can run up to several hundred. No way in hell that Windows Movie Maker is the second best video editing software out there.

Final Cut Pro > Avid > Adobie Premier > iMovie > Cheapy bundled video editors > WMM

Of course, FCP and Avid will cost you, and FCP is Mac-only.

What about Sony Vegas. I heard that's awesome but it's extremely costly.

1. Adobe Premier
2. Sony Vegas (KICK ARSE EDITING PROGRAM. EASY TO USE AND HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTIONS)
3. Pinnacle Studio
4. Windows Movie Maker (ew)

I agree 100%. I would absolutely love it if there was a Final Cut for Windows, it is teh ub3r!!1

Sucks that all the GOOD software has to be for Macs only

And yes, I have Pinnacle's Studio 9, but it's so retarded-it's like, ooh this effect looks cool, wait a minute, it says unlock this effect pack for only $100! ****!

Well, I use Adobe Premier Pro 2.0 (a friend has it, and let me borrow it, that's the same way I got Photoshop :)), but it's very expensive, and it's probably not what you're looking for.
