I apologize for wrong forum and whatnot, this is about a PS2. Xbox-scene's ps2 forum is linked to ps2 scene which does not allow registration. This is not a question techinically about the PS2, but a fix to my problem. They have paper thing ribbon cables that are clamped to the mobo. My fat fingers broke a clamp. I need a way to hold the cable down applying constant pressure. ELECTRICAL TAPE DOES NOT WORK. I tried that. Here are a couple pics, kinda blurry but gets the job done.
My ps2 modchip is on the way so I disassembled my ps2...and my fat fingers broke a clamp at the very end >_>.
Well, here's bad pcitures but I can elaborate on them.
This is the area:
(It's the ribbon cable connected Mobo to DVD drive laser)
This is the clamp...kinda useless I guess:
Hard to see but it STAYS in ifnothing is bumping it or anything..:
And finally..teh broken clamp resting on top..:
can I do ANYTHIGN to fix this? Thanks for any help
