i cannot get my avatar into my profile. it just says that no avatar was selected. i tried from uploading it from imageshack.us, and my computer directly, but it didn't work!

Use lighter file formats like .png or .gif.
If you're using photoshop try saving with less quality.

Also, try to resize it a bit, that can make a big difference sometimes.
