I was hoping that wouldn't be necessary, but it is always an option.


Anyways I was able to un-hide that folder and as I prepared to delete it, I noticed there was nothing in the folder. So I'm guessing the scan worked, I will be doing another one right now to double check.

Boot using miniPE. It has a crapload of anti-virus. Best part is that it runs off the RAM disk, and so the HDD isn't even activated (meaning your virus isn't active when you scan).

I can't tell you how to get it (don't know if the download sites are legit).
