Linux can't boot, cause windows has no boot loader

Post by a mammoth »

Ok I installed Fedora Linux on my secondary HDD, just to have Linux, cause you know, who doesn't want Linux?

And I can't boot it, Fedora has a boot loader, but windows don't.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to boot teh Linux, without switching the Hard drives? And my bios doesn't have a boot loader either.

set the jumpers on the drives, setting the linux one to master, and the winblows one to slave. and if they're on seperate IDE cables, you'll have to change the order through the BIOS.

there's probably windows bootloader software, but i don't know of any.

No, it will not eat Windows. Windows eats itself.

As for your dual-booting problem, just search Google. I have studying to do; otherwise, I would have looked up the answer.
