Why won't the Halo 2 v1.1 +13 trainer work on my xbox?

I have UnleashX, so that means I'm using Xored Trainer Launcher. I put the .etm in c/trainers (the same place that yelo is located, and yelo works brilliantly). I start my Xbox, go to applications, then select Xored. I then select Halo 2, then the Halo 2 v1.1 +13 trainer and pick all the effects I want. Then I press start. When Halo 2 loads up, I see v1.1 in the lower right hand corner. Then I pick my profile and start up a game. But the game is completely normal. Nothing is changed. Any reason as to why this isn't working? Other people have got this working with Xored, but I don't know how. Thanks for any help.[/code]

Umm first specify what you're playing on, split screen, system link. Oh and delete your update and get the 1.1 off the MP disc.

Are you "forthetrainers" on MaxConsole? look at what scynide (me) posted there on the link you gave us. Here is what it said:

This only works with the 1.1 update from the Multiplayer Map Pack disk. Nothing else is required. No renaming no nothing. EvoX dashboard does not do trainers right for me so I use the Xored Trainer Launcher which you can find in the usual place. UnleashX is better than EvoX.

Like I said, It HAS to be the 1.1 from the Multiplayer Map Pack disk. If it is the one from XBL, it won't work.

I never had Xbox Live. I've gotten the update from the Map Pack the whole time. And I do have update v1.1, when I start it up it says 1.1 in the lower right hand corner before I sign in. And it won't work on either split screen or system link, but I'm trying to play on system link. I only have one controller plugged in (i'm saying this cause someone told me it wouldn't work if you had 2 plugged in.) thanks for responding.

Even if its the 1.2 AU, it will say 1.1 in the bottom right...

well i just downloaded the trainer from a different site, and followed the same process, and it works! I guess it was just a faulty upload, like they uploaded the same file twice or something. Thanks for all your help though.

delete the auto update from your tdata folder. or jsut rename all the files in it. that way, you can use the (multi) +13 trainer, which is the same.

But then if i wanted to play the new maps, i would have to put update the game again and not use the trainer.

or you can put the maps in your map folder and add them to your main menu
