im at my friends house rite now and when we download the trial version it works untill we open the game and a error comes up and says...................A Problem Occurred Initializing DirectDraw. Hardware Acceleration Maybe Disabled, Please Run DXDIAG
anyone know how to fix this and make it run correctly???

Start->run and type in DXDIAG... Goto the tab "display" and down near the bottom make sure DirectDraw Acceleration is enabled.

i did that and it says not available next to it and it says disable which cant be clicked on
does that mean it is enabled??

u might not have DX9 installed, that would be stupid if u didn't...

yeh, that to just do all of the options, try downloadingnew drivers...

Right click on your desktop, and go to Properties...Click on the Settings tab up at the top, then the advanced button...Click the Troubleshoot tab up at the top, and you should see a slider bar for Hardware acceleration...Move this to full, apply, and go forth happy... ;o)

i remember this, it pissed me off so fucking bad when i got the full version of halo - heres what do a search on google for halo errors or microsoft

you should get a troubleshoot page on halo.com or something but all i remember is that you need to install this update.

i dont exactly remember how because my dad was screwing around trying 2 fix it and he accidentaly downloaded this update off of a microsoft web page

ok well my computer is fucked

it is going very slow and that DXDIAG thing shows up on my computer now for the full version so i cant play
and if im on the internet and i scroll down the page its like a lag on the webpage, i dont know how to explain it but it doesnt actually scroll down, at first nothing happens and then when u stop scrollling it warps to the spot u were at and its very annoying
i think my computer is starting to get a virus or sumthin
