Ok, don't use .map files for your mods. That really pisses off the poor, poor 56Kers. Use PPFs instead. There is a tutorial for PPFs. Don't ask for it. Search...

All you have to do to make a map file available for download is to upload it to a webhost. You will probably want to compress the .MAP and a README together into an archive so it takes up less disk space. Your MAP file is going to be much to large to upload to our files forum or attach to your post, but if you have a webhost, you could upload it there. Then you just link to that file for example: http://www.yoursite.com/putput.zip

Then people can simply click that link to download your mapfile archive (the .MAP file AND the readme).

Dude, put the unmodded files in the "unmodded file." Than put the patched file or modded file in the "patched" area. Then select make ppf patch. Then compress it and put it up for download.

Alright, there is a topic that is a guide for PPF's, you will need the PPF-O-Matic 3, and with that you will select the iso as your map, and the ppf as the ppf you are applying.
