Newbie <----- help mod

I am new to all this stuf
I use soft modding wwith fxp and splinter cell
With this can i mod on old maps? can i play new maps that people create? will i be able to do the killtrocity map pack?

i can use the ppf sppf but i get an error with the serentity program i need like a new NET. but i have the newest one i dont get it. i dont want to make or edit mods right now i just wanna try other mods summited by people on the nine new maps but iam having trouble finding the files i want and can work with... plz help any way

You mean you can only FTP while Splinter Cell is in the xbox?
If that's not the case then do this:

After that just get the old map mods you want and patch them and overwrite the maps in the halo 2-maps folder on your xbox. Also don't forget to make Back-ups of the maps just in case.

yeah i can only transfer with my splinter cell game in is there a way i can download a dashboard without a mod chip

Whatever you have for your exploit should have an option to install a dashboard.
