Dedicated server help

I have a dedicated server and I can't join it. Other people can but I cant connect to myself. I changed the port haloded.exe uses and it does not help.

if u want to direct ip it...----- 127.0.0.1:2302-----... remeber that number forever... when u are trying to connect to yourself

that sort of works. It does the same thing as if I just selected my server from the list. It says connecting to server, and it retries 3 times then "gives up". Isn't there something I can change? Other people can join!! (Thanks kindly for your help, though)

wouldn't 127.0.0.{anything} work? but wait, you can't connect yourself in a ded serv...

your dedicated server has to be on another computer
