Entity BSP Problem

When i load up a map in Entity, and i try to use the BSP Viewer it will load for about 10 seconds, come up and then go away and i get an error "error in the application". Does anyone have any idea how to get around this?

Whaaaaaaaat?
Do you have the map in the same folder as the mainmenu.map, single_player_shared.map, and shared.map? Also what is the RAM on your computer. Also try restarting the computer, always seems to help.

I dont know what ram my computer is, i really dont have the specs of it. I know its old but when i try it on my laptop(which is fairly new, a year or two) i get this error "object reference not set to an instance of an object". I have no idea what that meens.
