HHT, SparkEdit, and HMT

Post by Guest »

Ok. I am having problems with these programs on my computer. I install them and download them over and over again. This is really getting on my nerves. I like the programs, but I'm having to go into WinRAR and get the file manually instead of just clicking on the icon I posted onto my desktop. I click on it, and this wierd error comes up. Can someone please help me???

Could you be a bit more specific? I don't really know what your problem is so I can't help you. I'm assuming that you didn't extract everything from the winRAR archive. Extract everything in the winrar archive that the app is in. Then make a shortcut to the halomaptools.exe or sparkedit.exe or HHT.exe and put it on your desktop. You can't make a shortcut to a file in an archive.

You need to copy the HMT folder wherever and go to that folder everytime because there's files that are necesarry for HMT to run. For example. Without the Plugins folder, theres nothing for HMT to do. With out the .dll's theres nothing to tell it what to do. Since it doesnt know what to do, it gives you the error. You need the whole hmt folder.
It would seem that...
