thx. i did forget the trigger. ill see how it looks with a stock, this would probably make a great sniping weapon. ill try and get a lot more detail in too. I also got 3ds max now, but i cant figure out how to use it. how do i smooth edges in it? I would love to see what 3ds max can do to this model, so if it isnt too much to ask, could u mess around with ti in 3ds? thx for the advice again!

thats right KingOfWar, i have no problem with people modifying my model as long as they give me credit. in fact, i encourage everyone to attempt making this model better.
your remodel isnt exactly what i was looking for. i wanted a beefier, rounder model. but i still admire your ability to even make a box in 3ds max. it will take me 5 years to figure out how to even rotate the screen! try again king, but remember, beefier and rounder!

lol i'm a noob at modeling help me
....no need to post that crap up there we're not talking about you.
to be absolutly honest, kodiak,
it's horrid. it hardly resembles a gun. now milkshape is not a very powerfull program i suggest downloading the 3ds max trial and learning there. but if all you have is milkshape then do this. try to relate parts of the gun to real guns. for example the handle. model it more like a real handle from a gun put a picture in there to help as well. add other parts from real guns and modify them to fit your new gun. try tools like extrude and creating new vertecies and faces. and try to make the model clean, it looks like you have some overlapping faces in there. no one's amazing when they first start but keep practicing. took me a while to learn how : / my first model was a bunch of boxes >_<. but keep trying and lots of practice. also search google for some tutorials they'll help a lot.
