New Tag: Fire Cubemap Bitmap (CUBEMAP!!!)

this has never been done before... a new cubemap bitmap tag... if u dont know what this is, it's the bitmap that reflects or "mirrors" off a material.
if antone could get an ingame pic of this I would appreciate it...

um.. no paul... open a cubemap .tif file. as you can see markers or borders appear separating each bitmap. they are blue which means it will either come out as multiple mipmaps or a cubemap. it comes out a cubemap because if u were to fold it on each border or marker, it would become a cube. thus creates a cubemap...

just forming a cube isnt enough, the texture has to FIT all around, and u just got 1 picture 6 times.
they all have to link up to eachother, maybe not in Halo, not sure about it, but Halo isnt the only game i mod u know.
anyway, YOU know ur right, and thats what its all about right?

Banshee, stop acting like what you do is innovative. People have made cubemaps before (including myself), but we just don't release everything we do... And you did do it very wrong. It does not compile as a bitmap, but you have to switch a bunch of things up for it to work. The ghost is only reflecting one bitmap, but that is all that is included in the cubemap, because you just rotated the texture.

I just looked closer, and you can see the edges of the bitmaps on the ghost. You should really try and make this the proper way.

wait, what exactly does a cubemap do? is it a skin or what? b/c the shee has a skin and a cubemap and the ghost here looks like it was skinned
