I found myself looking through my ever-expanding "projects" folder the other day and noticed this map... I recalled it as being pretty fun to play, a spawn of boredom to explore the possibilties of respawning AI in Sidewinder.

The map is fairly simplistic as most of my maps tend to be. For starters more trees have been added to the map as well as a few rocks for cover. You and your beloved Marines spawn at red base, along with arms and vehicles.

At the other side of the map, the Covenant are pouring out of blue base, commanding four shade turrets and four ghosts. Two banshees are also at their disposal, but they are for non-AI use to keep them from driving along the ground crushing everything with their nose, as they tend to do in low-ceiling maps.

The ever-anoying Flood spawn near the two raised middle areas of the map, as most sidewinder mods tend to do as well. They charge at the Marine and Covenant bases respectively.

And to add that mandatory touch of laser beams, a few sentinels teleport in amongst the trees around the middle of the map.

Feel free to download this map if you have a thing for slaying infinite amounts of enemies. It's not my sort of thing, but a lot of people seem to like it, so have at it.

Cheers.

looks fun but it would be better if it was a custom map. :)

I just played it...
Overall, it was very fun and fast paced. I love the fact that the AI respawn so fast because I like big batlles :D . However, the Flood respawn to fast to give the marines and Covenant any chance at all to push forward. Because of this, there are no Human v. Covie batlles unless you bring em over in a 'hog. However, I loved this anyway.

I am aware of that, and I tried to remedy that before uploading the map (I did a quick sweep to tidy up the AI a bit and try to up their mobility a bit). Sadly this is the better of the three alternatives that exist. You can have it this way, or you could force them to run to the middle of the map with command lists (a big no-no), or you could increase the respawn timers for the Flood a LOT. I tried that, the result was that the Marines and Covenant pretty much strolled about at their camps, idling. Since there's no threats, they don't run.

Scripts can probably help, but as stated before, this wasn't a fancy project or anything.
