Cleanup single player level

Cleanup by adumass

This is a single player level so start it up using the console (~) then type map_name cleanup.

Credits- Spectre, Carbine, Warthog, Ghost and Gauss hog: I don't know who exactly made these I got them from halomaps.org and modified them a bit. I think they are most likely ripped from halo2.
h_turret: I don't remember where i got this from..but its not mine if its yours just tell me and people should know a noob like me could not make that.
Pistol fp animations: CtrlAltDestroy / [ZMT] L33T

You play as an elite is in this map its my first so i know it does not have the best modeling you've ever seen. Fight your way past the flood and even some marines to the end of the level.

Known issues-
-Sometimes the triggers don't work in certain places and enemies are not placed.
-The marines driving hogs go up the walls once in a while, but i tried to reduce this as much as i could.
-The flood in the last room don't jump down from the second floor sometimes.

FREAKING awsom, i liked it alot, BUT i got a unhandled exception, in the part when u go to that like room inside (preety far into the level) and ur fighting the floods and humans i got to the 2nd wave then blakc screen then a window saying unhadnled exception, but still a very nice map i like it alot I like how it was so long if u could fix that exception i would liek it even better :)

P.s: I forgot to say this but all the "known problems" u said u had, i didnt notice ne of that while playing the level so i just thought u might would want to no that

The smoothing looks really good. I mean some of the maps out there have terrible smoothing.

Well it didn't cause an exception for me but i think i know what it is, elites with energy swords. I think i could fix that by removing the energy sword glow it doesn't always place the elites with the swords though its random. I used the blur filter in photoshop to get it smooth, but you can also blur displacement maps in 3dsmax(just found that out ).

I liked it, I saw it on halomaps before you posted it here and thought it was really cool, I like at the end when you fight all of the marines with the halo 2 style vehicles, really fun and I hope you make more of these. You can never have too many ce sp maps that are made sweet.

I wanted to put music in but couldn't get it scripted right..it would only play a piece then stop. Anyone got a tutorial for music? And did you guys try it on legendary, i think i made it pretty hard.

You have to enable Dev-mode, and open up the console in the main menu. Then type map_name >map name<...

I finaly played this and thought it was just another AI map but it was actually kinda fun.

yes and if they ever get flipped over and you flip it back for em they jump back in, but they are your enemies..

Ah, Excellent level. :) You and I have much to discuss... :P

I've toyed with the idea of playing as an Elite before (There is a beta of an Elite map littering my 'projects' folder, but it pretty much died.), but you pulled it off well. Are those FP hands new, or just reskinned? Either way, they do the job nicely.

The AI was very good, they moved from area to area as they 'cleaned' out the flood, and fought well. Balance was good, except for the last out-door area, with the two human turrets. I found myself without allies and outgunned in that spot, but that's my only complaint. :P

the (most probably) ripped content bothered me, as it always does, but I won't hold that against an otherwise excellent piece of single player mapping.

9.5/10. ^_^

i played it and i like how they do drive the hogs
u gives ds killa teh actr and actv tags he wud b happy i bet to get the marines in madness p6 to drive the hogs
or u should make a tutorial on how to do that
