Sandwinder
Sandwinder
CE version of the sandwinder map, multiplayer copy.
This was built as a sleeve mod for HaloPC, but to do so, a CE version was created first.

There is also version with AI, if I can find it.

You should complain to Bungie, all bitmaps (except for the stonewall) are from Halo.....The_Wraith wrote:Those textures are making my eyes bleed.
( If you are building CE for the purpose of porting to PC, it pays to use existing bitmaps, as you can overwrite the non-extracted CE versions as part of the Rebuild, and you dont need a PPF. )

really more of a critcism. Take it or not I think they look terrible.
rating, I posted 'cos someone asked for a copy of the CE map after
seeing the finished PCE mod.
But thanks anyway, I'm sure you are a highly renowned expert in the
field, and please excuse my ignorance for not knowing that.

No, that was not criticism, that was definetly a flame. All you did was insult the mod and didn't actually add anything to the discussion of the mod. Maybe if you had something to contribute, it could slide; but you don't, so please, STFU, or GTFO my internets.The_Wraith wrote:Not a flame, really more of a critcism. DECOY, I think you did a great job, because as I understand it, porting CE => PC can be quite a difficult task.

Regardless of weather it's a flame or not, it doesn't really matter, ya know? You only make it worse by arguing about it.
Good job Decoy, <3 the custom scenery, but you should talk to o90 about a nice stone texture lol. There's tons I would do differently, but then it's not my mod, and for pce this map was amazing, so I'll definitely have to try this out.

No, that was not a flame. At gearbox people say stuff like that all the time, it's almost always not ment to be taken as a flame, rather as a joking constructive criticism. Now I know this isn't gearbox but he is from gearbox, as am I, and I have said almost the exact same thing before.G.I.R. wrote:No, that was not criticism, that was definetly a flame.
