"The Rush" Campaign Map

This is my first campaign map full with cutscenes and new voices, a new biped and theme!

this is just a test map to see what i could do with scripting, the bsp is in a very early stage, i decided not to put water in it until v2 because i was being lazy :p , ive heard from everyone whos played it say they love it.

glitches:

:game save will SOMETIMES not activate at the tunnel entrance
: ai like to either not spawn or spawn on top of each other

to start the map turn on dev mode and type in the main menu (without quotes) "map_name the_rush"

Thank you god for this person named "Offspring" for without him we would not have another custom singleplayer map

Looks great. I should look into scripting, It could really help my AI mods.... How long aprox. did it take for you to do this?

I've tried the map out now, It's good, although a bit short... This further stresses the need for you to tell me how long this took in the making.. >.>

Oh, minor "glitch", if you chuck grenades at the banshee and flip it, you can hug the wall and fly around in it...

yeah im aware of most of the glitches in the map, im glad you guys like it too this will make me strive to complete the final version.

Man, haven't seen a custom made campaign map in a loooooooong time. *Besides CMTs that is.*

I have that same elite sword problem when i made a map. I think its caused by missing tags or something.

OMG, that was awesome!

A bit short, though...

But awesome!

Finish it! Make the next scenes and stitch them in to make one, big, beautiful SP map! So far, it's glorious, though the when replacement enemies that spawn after the first few die pop up in plain sight, it looks a little unrealistic.

hey offspring, how'd you get the robotic-sounding voice at the end of the level (with all of the spec-ops grunts)

Yeah I love the voice at the end. Is that Spartan 104, will? That's actually how I imagined his voice being. I suppose it could be anyone though.

Its one of the CRT marine commanders..or its supposed to be, but its supposed to sound all broken up and disordered (you would kno why if you listened closely)

to answere your question demonmaster3k i made it by compiling a .sound with tool and then scripting it into the level...
