i figured that much about the tagging-compiling process but my question was actually referring to how did you make the sound itself, not the sound tags (i would love to do awesome voiceovers like that)

I use Goldwave and a microphone to make the sounds...

so lemme get this straight, u used goldwave, and a microphone, then i'm guessing that you used one of the plugins to change the voice and make it sound all broken up...

Go to the "new user" forum to ask questions. You have to enable the Console (Ask about that in the new user forum, Im to lazy to tell you right now..), Go to the Main Menu of Halo CE, open the console (

just tryed it twice and got 2 exceptiosn when loading.. first time dev mode off second dev mode on.

You cant type in the console with dev mode off. So you are typing "map_name the_rush" in the console in the main menu. Dont type quotes.

Well, if you add -console a the end of the shortcut you can... and it gives me the excveption with devmode on.
I load the game, then in the main menu i start devmode then I hit ~ and type it map_name the_rush
it goes to a black screen......... and waits there. if i try closing the cnosole by hitting ~ again it crashes me. if i leave the console open after 10 mins it's still in that black screen
