I thought that Xavier and Halo 2 Rules!! mod was so cool that when I saw someone had converted it for one of the single-player levels in Halo CE I wanted to do the same so here is what I hope will be just the first of many

Thanks to Xavier and Halo 2 Rules!! for one of the most impressive Halo PC mods ever (certainly my number 1 bitmap mod).
Thanks to SteelIXB for HEKplus which helped expedite the bitmap extraction

this map is a good effort and i LOVE cel shaded (reminds me of cel damage)
and i think its acctually very kind to donate this map to xavier

wat do u mean? i wasnt being disrespecful. i just needed 2 see some pics. and yea, it looks like a good cel-shaded mod, but i dont like cel-shaded. thats why i didnt get the windwaker

That was actually the catalyst for my inspiration. I saw it and thought 'hmm, I could do that using the rest of Xavier's and Halo 2 Rules!! mod' having just learned how to take textures for PC and convert them for CE and then I found HEKplus could do all the boring conversion work in one fell swoop. I just loaded up Blood Gulch and the modified Cel-shaded bitmaps.map and ripped it ll in half an hour. Then it took me three to four days to make everything work for CE. I think my brain actually melted part-way through but most of the hard work is out of the way now so the rest should be a lot easier to do.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Yes it is for CE which means you can play Blood Gulch regualr map or Blood Gulch Cel-shaded and you don't have to modify a thing. Just extract the map to your Halo Custom Edition folder (both formats are available, I didn't want to be lazy with this one).

He said that because the skins were originally for PC.
