Um. Did you bother to READ the Halo novels? Even the MK4 armor without MC's shields could cope with that, seeing as he can survive in SPACE on an environmental system and all. Given that the armor is as advanced as it is, I also would not be surprised if it had a way of extracting oxygen from the water..caboose228 wrote:wont mastercheif drown in his armor? very very weird but its cool. no ones ever done it.... i think but still very cool idea. mmmmmmm if only we had boats we could play pirates on it with the tanks as are ships. sweet!!!

If you read carefully, you pick up random plot holes. but other than that, they're good. such as the scene where they go get the MK4MNJOLNIR armor (without shields, larger battery pack than MK5), it says ALL the spartans go there. 30 spartans. Then leave on a Pelican, with some scientists and some SPARE MJOLNIR suits. ... Now, the Pelican's carry capacity is around 12.M9 HE-DP Grenade wrote:actually, i never have read the books, i probably should.

you don't NEED to be a modder. There's several scenes where you spawn inside a peli during Halo 1, and once in Halo2. A quick look can show you 6 seats on each side.M9 HE-DP Grenade wrote:ya but i dont think the author expected the readers to be moders that have looked at all its seats in hmtmaybe the pelican they left on had more room

well actually the peli has 14 seats. the pilot, 12 seats and the cargo seat for warthog attachment. perhaps some spartans hung onto that part of the peli for the flight
after all, a normal gamer wouldnt see the warthog attachment as a seat. and there were 30 spartans, so some must have been inside the pelican, where the pilot is, or in the middle of the rows of seats.

even accounting for "standing" positions... 30 spartans would FILL the drop ship pretty tight.M9 HE-DP Grenade wrote:well actually the peli has 14 seats. the pilot, 12 seats and the cargo seat for warthog attachment. perhaps some spartans hung onto that part of the peli for the flightafter all, a normal gamer wouldnt see the warthog attachment as a seat. and there were 30 spartans, so some must have been inside the pelican, where the pilot is, or in the middle of the rows of seats.
Yet there's 30 spartans, spare armor taking up the space of additional spartans, and some scientists. And they can all move around the inside with great ease.
it went into space.....M9 HE-DP Grenade wrote:well actually the peli has 14 seats. the pilot, 12 seats and the cargo seat for warthog attachment. perhaps some spartans hung onto that part of the peli for the flightafter all, a normal gamer wouldnt see the warthog attachment as a seat. and there were 30 spartans, so some must have been inside the pelican, where the pilot is, or in the middle of the rows of seats.
