HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

As simple as this may be, there are still posts about how to do it.

You'll Need:
WinRAR
Halo Custom Edition

1. Install Halo Custom edition if you haven't already.
2. Install WinRAR.
2. Download the map you want to install. If you don't have one I sugjest going to HaloImpulse.com or Halomaps.com.
3. Unziping. After you have downloaded the map, it should have come in a .rar or .zip file. When you double click it, it will open a window with a file thats something like this: MAPNAME.map. Drag and drop that file on your desktop.
4. Open your maps folder. The default location for the Maps folder is C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Halo Custom Edition/Maps. Though you did have the option to change this when you installed the game.
5. Take the file you draged and droped onto you desktop and drag it to your maps folder.
6. Open Halo Custom Edition and Play!

Also you can open your maps folder before you extract the map and drag it right into it, but I just choose to put it the long way.
