HMT: How To Take The Turret Off A Warthog
How To Make A Warthog More Like A SpeedDemon RaceCar
Not many people know how to do this for some reason. But, oh well, here we go.
This tutorial is used for those people who enjoy racing, of ANY kind. If you believe the Warthog would resemble a speed demon more by not having the turret, then this is for you!
This tutorial will be used in example with Bloodgulch. We will be changing the Rocket Warthog:
1) Open up HMTv3 or HMTv3.5
2) Click Open Map File
3) Choose

Is there a way to make it look like the person in the back is sitting down?
So it would look like they are sitting with their legs hanging off the back or something

im sorry for the bump , but maybe this might help:
halo uses poses for seat arangements, ie: w-driver has mc's hands on the wheel
while w-passenger is sitting with his gun out
and g-driver has mc's hands on the ghost's thruster controls
see?
maybe that will help
oh and to make it where mc is sitting down doing nothing use the tank's pose for mc i think it is SP-driver i dont know though
but making it where he is facing the back is another story

Hey, are the number of occupants in the vehicles hard coded, or can we add to them? The example in this thread obviously shows a way to effectively remove one from a 'hog, which, I have an idea for a vehicle that it can be used for, but I was wondering if we can make a stretched warthog with i dunno, maybe two gunners? Or a larger aircraft to replace the banshee that has a spot for a rear gunner? Anything like that possible, or do we have to just use what is available and change or remove pieces to suit?

For the gunner, I changed it to PriderLF and I got this:

It looks quite good. It looks as if he is standing in the back of the hog with his knees bent (as if he is trying to keep his balance as you drive). The only problem I find is that he is floating slightly off the turn table of the turret and that he turns with the turn table of the missing turret.
(sorry for the bump, i didnt realize how old this topic was)
