PC: Begginer - Warthog Skin Parts Identification

Post by 1981gMachine »

The following pictures will show you where every single part of the warthog skin goes on the warthog model. All except for the wheels, and interior. Cuz the wheels are a no brainer and the interior is just as easy.

This is the main picture of what the skin looks like when opened in a program. I numbered all the pieces and color coded them to help with the loacting of parts. The pictures below this are in-game shots that are numbered to match the skin.

#28 & #24 are together. They both go in the same part of the hog.

#33 is part of 18

#31 & #32 are unknown. I've looked top to bottom and can't find a visable spot for these pieces. I would assume they belong to a neighboring piece.

The big white object is nothing, it's empty space.

Note: The white line seen on the hog between section #'s 17 & 1 shows the rough boundry between these two parts. This is useful in lining up a design so it flows from front 2 back.

Lol naaahhh, this is one of the most helpful 'tutorials' I've ever seen on this site in regards to beginner skinning. I used to use it all the time when I made skins.
