{Tutorial} Halo 2 Bitmap Injection

Well, one of my friends needed a tutorial on how to inject bitmaps into Halo 2 (I know, sad), so I was kind enough to make one. I know its a simple thing, but I didnt want 15 min of recording then editing to go to waste. Its about 6 minutes and is an goes from extracting, editing in Photoshop, and injecting. Also, sorry about my microphones quality, you might have to turn the volume up a bit to hear me clearly.

ummm yeah tutorial submission and i believe green nc made a tutorial on how to skin already but great job, greennc's was a text tutorial sometimes people need a video to make it completely clear.

You'd be surprised how difficult it is sometimes to find information as basic as this. This would've been the coolest thing in the world for me if it'd been posted yesterday

There's still a few things I'm kind of vague on anyway, so I'll have a look. Thanks for posting it.

well even though he released this tutorial and greennc has released one too and halokit.com has one if there are any questions anyone has about skinning ever i am 100% positive i can answer them. just pm me or find me on aim (rare) i also have email.

I'm sure I could come up with someting for you...

Anyway, looks like you spent a lot of time on this. People have been asking a whole lot of late about skinning, so I think this is right in time. Good work!

What about bumpmaps. I've seen a little work done with them, but have no clue how to myself. Photoshop doesn't wanna' open 'em. And is there a way to make things more shiny? Either a slick shiny or a metallic shiny.

well i would love the challenge theycallmechad, i must say you are better than me but from intermediatte to semi-advanced skinning i should have the answers to most questions. the only new thing i am really still getting the hang of is custom bump maps, i have'nt released anything or even shown some "wips" because theyre really not anything special yet, alot of my bump maps are just kinda basic like the ones you and scottygee have posted in the pictures section. i also have been trying out giving the mc a shnazzy new visor but have'nt really come up with anything too amazing yet. but yeah if you think you got something i dont know i would love to hear about it.
