I just finished recategorizing all of the tutorials in the Tutorials Forum and I've counted a total of 62 Tutorials in the Tutorial Forum and 35 on all of the other sections of the forums, making a total of 97 tutorials on the HaloMods User Forums. So, I've set up some guidelines for people who want to post tutorials. Simply follow these couple of rules:
Prefix
When you post or move a tutorial here, you must include a prefix. Simply take what the topic is about and add it as the prefix. So if it's about any of the tools in the HEK, you would put "HEK: Topic Title" as the topic title. Simple enough, right? Let's say if its for a specific tool like HMT, you would put "HMT: Topic Title" as the topic title. It's that easy.
Polls
People add polls to their tutorials asking if it helped or not, and from now on this will not be allowed. Simply post your tutorial, and don't distract people from the topic by adding a poll. It's useless and if people want to give you feedback, they will post and tell you what they think.
Files
When you create a tutorial that needs extra files or files that don't come with an application (such as plugins), be sure to include download links so the reader can easily reach them and have no problem following the tutorial. I've seen this done a few times and when you add links to the post, it reduces the amount of questions asked.
Questions or Requests
From now on, you are not allowed to ask or request any tutorials. A forum will be set up for that shortly, but until then, post any requests or questions you have in the New People Click Here! Forum. If you post any question topics or request topics they will be instantly deleted without warning and excessive posting will lead to a ban.
This is all for now. If problems arise in the future concerning tutorials, I will update this with new rules/regulations. Thanks for reading.
