Demo opinions

Played it for a few hours this morning. I liked it for the most part. I kind of wish you could build stuff away from the base (like walls and stuff). Also seems like there isn't much tech stuff compared to other RTS games, but I guess that kind of makes it more console-friendly.

The controls are pretty easy to grasp, which is a big plus.

I might buy it now... I dunno.

It's pretty sweet. Reminds me of my very first strategy video game, Battle Realms, which I still play xD. Yea I can't wait to get my copy. I just wish they would have added a limited Multiplayer mode to the demo instead of just Campaign and Skirmish.

I know me and my best friend were disappointed we couldnt play with each other. Maybe they'll come out with an update like CoD beta. Doubt it, but we can only hope

I liked it. Playing as covenant is really fun when you get a Scarab or 2. Did you check out the multiplayer map list? You can play on Blood Gulch!

Yeah I did see Blood Gulch. Also, I love playing as the covenant. Also, I love the scenematics on this game.

I didn't really like playing as the Covenant to be honest. Humans are easier to play as.

I agree, how ever once you have 4 or more locusts at full power the AI has got one hell of a battle on its hands.
i do love getting 9 locust and just surrounding the UNSC base ripping it apart.

The covenant base design isn't as good as it could have been. Structures types are not easily distinguishable, especially with the shield active.

I just figured out how to train ODSTs and drop them. I absolutely love deploying them when the enemy least expects it. ^_^

I really like this game. Before halo or any fps for the matter all I played was Age of Empires II.

Edit:This Game is so fucking awesoem, i couldn't stop playing until i beat the humans on hard mode in skirmish.

I quite liked this as well. I always enjoy just building a massive army and then leading them around to crush small little groups of enemies.
I'm pre ordering this now.

heroic is pretty easy too... i hope the multiplayer and campaign functions will be much more difficult...

I think their AI is kidna weird in this, i mean, they pushed hard at the beginning trying to rush but then i survivedthen they jsut started sending little waves of grunts and stuff, its not the most complex AI ever, but then again, why not just play online?
