So I was searching around the net and found this nice little gadget. I have yet to test it but assuming from what i've read this little doohicky will boot your jailbroken ipod without the need to set everything up again via the tethered jailbreaking hassle.
A more detailed usage:
1) Connect your ipod to your pc
2) Bring it into dfu mode
a) Hold home and power 10 seconds
b) Let go of power and keep holding home for 6 sec
3) Run 1ClickBoot.exe

You will also need to install libusb for this to work.

4) After a while, your ipod should boot, no reconnect!
