[model]Micro-Uzi EDIT!! Micro Uzi Mod available!!

This is a model for the uzi I made about a month ago. It took a few hours to put together. Please tell me what you think. You CAN include this in any map/mod you'd like. Just remember to please give me credit for creating the models when you release it. If this is just for personal use, you may keep it to yourself.

**NOTICE** - This model is not triangularized or scaled correctly. If you want this to be in a map/mod, you MUST use a modeling program to size it correctly and make all the polygons triangles. I suggest looking up wings3d if you don't have any application for modeling on the mac.

These renders were rendered in Cinema 4d (demo), and actually created in Wings 3d (freeware).

EDIT:New Uzi Mod. Still not triangularized or scaled. Added precision reflex sight and suppressor!

Doesn't it have to be triangulated in order to be a model in the first place?

No, the polygons that are in this model are squares. But if you mean that I am not allowed to submit this unless it is triangularized, I don't believe that is true. When a moderator tells me then I will get it done very quickly. For now I think it is fine.

But the squares, no matter what, must be made of triangles. You can't see them, but there there.

To be put into halo, the model must be triangulated. Get it, Got it, Bye.

The mod is on the actual model. I'm sorry I did not express that very clearly, but by "mod" I meant that there was an added suppressor and red dot sight. Not an actual map.

I respect your post, but I am not new here at all. I know the rules quite well, and I know I'm allowed to submit any sort of model as long as it works when injected into halo.

During the time I submitted this, I did not have halo for the mac, and therefore I could not scale it correctly. I could have triangularized the model, but the user would need 3d modeling software anyways in order to scale it.

The point is that it can be injected into halo without crashing, therefore I believe my submission is valid.

JSK, I believe Andrew is stating that to be put into the game, not onto the site, the model must be triangularized. However, I believe he was misinterpreting what you said into something it wasn't. Your post just seems a bit defensive, JSK.

I was trying to be defensive. That's what I understood from him but if I am wrong that should be fine too. I thought he was implying something in his post.

It doesn't matter. We should get on topic and talk about the actual model.

Looks like a waste of polys. Also, the handle looks fugly. Also, if you want to get defensive go right ahead. Im just saying, for a model to be put INGAME, it has to be triangularized. There are no rules about models on this site. I dont know why your making a big deal about it.

Fix the handle.

Get rid of the high poly use on the things on the side.

I must say this is a very good model, regardless if it wastes polygons, it looks sexy.
