SDCM - The Phobia Within

Backstory:

Many years after the destroying of Instillation 04, the pieces of the ring world drifted through space. One was large enough to keep its own atmosphere and gravity. On this piece of ring was a swampy canyon. Now this canyon is a battlefield of the spartans.

(I hope that will do :P)

Description:

A swampy canyon with rain, bugs, ferns, vehicles, weapons and two bases.

Tweaks and Changes:

It now rains and there is a few moths flying around.
When you walk under a tree or near a plant, you can hear the sound of rain on the leaves :-)
It is now night time, and the ring is not there (As it has been shattered and drifting through space)
Some ferns grow at various places around the map.
New skins for a lot of things. (From FTW - Thanks Pepsi!)
A Banshee now spawns at each base.

Vehicles:

Gauss warthog replaces Rocket warthog.
Many of you may know this from Halo 2. It shoots high speed projectiles at a fairly high rate of fire, but they don't do much damage.

Banshee and Ghost have got a re-skin.

Scorpian and Chain Hog are un-changed.

Weapons:

Needle rifle replaces the needler.
This rifle shoots high speed needles that bounce of most man-made surfaces. This weapon has a shotgun-like rate of fire, and the needles do a lot of damage. (So much in fact they bypass the shield leaving it intact while taking down the health)
The Needle rifle also has a 2x and 10x zoom, but is highly un-accurate when zoomed in. The needles can also destroy a conveant shield generator in one shot.

Healing Gun replaces Plasma Pistol.
As a tribute to Red vs Blue, the plasma pistol now shoots health packs when charged. If you do not charge the plasma pistol up, it won't shoot anything.

Weapon Tweaks and Changes:

AR Tweaks:
The Assault Rifle now has a max of 80 ammunition, and is slightly more accurate. The reason i have done this is because i think the AR is greatly under used in lots of multiplayer games.

You can now carry 6 of each grenade.

Known bugs:

It rains inside, and you can hear rain noise inside.
The rain sound is not continuos and can get a bit annoying.
IMPORTANT:
The Banshee's do not like respawning. Turn respawn off or they will dissapear.

The Gauss Warthog came from CMT Coagulation.
The Skins came from pepsi.
The Needle Rifle came from Island Hop which was made by Tiamat.
Everything else was PMI'd, skinned or modded by me.

Did you get permission to use the vehicles/weapons? Otherwise I think this is pretty cool, good job.

Err...I guess not. I would have thought that credit was enough. As far as i know, Tiamat isn't even active. Is he?

Maybe cut the amount of ammo you can fire (clip) at once for the assault rifle, it went on quite a while. Then if you wanted to still have more ammo just increase the amount you can carry.

So i'll cut the max clip size back to 60, but increse the accuracy more. I really think it needs to be used more in games :)

Alas, Tiamat is not responding :S
