Metal dragon armor

While i was makeing a scene with a dragon and a scarab fighting i accidently replaced the materials of the dragon with it but then it turned out that it actualy looked better! tell me what you think.
Here is a picture of the original.

It looks pretty cool. Although, I'm still waiting to see it fighting the scarab.

Well im still trying to sketch out the battle scene so it can have Fighter bombers and a cityscape in tha backround so dont expect it to come so soon.
And heres a front view of the edited dragon

Me either, until I found the eyes in the lower section of the picture. Still difficult after that. The metallic textures *sort* of fit, but only if you wanted a mechano-dragon.
