Codename: ORSM

Well...This is different >_>
With the announcement that Codename:Epic would be cancelled, it sucked, I didn't like quitting on a mod, especially one that I had planned right down to how each trailer would be made and how the story would progress...
but alas! That is behind me, it won't happen. So without anymore beating around the bush, I am announcing Codename: ORSM! A stripped down version of Epic with other kool stuff.
Codename: ORSM is based in Headlong, and is played in an alternate universe than halo (as in no Covenant). Story will be further presented later, other than to say it will be Humans against aliens ;p

I guess the first thing you'll notice is the fact that he has no helemt. Well, let me introduce you to the human side of this fight The humans have managed to steal and tweak the enemy's suit for themselves.
The next thing you'll notice in his hand is the weapon he is holding. This is the main, multipurpose rifle for the human resistance: The rail gun.
The Resistance's rail gun was a major breakthrough in technology. The rail gun's size used to be twice as large as the average soldier. Now thanks to nano technology the development team was able to miniaturise the large rail guns into a light portable weapon system.
It is both powerful and accurate. It comes with a 2x scope and is also effective against vehicles. It fires single shots and has a delay due to the charging of the magnets. Upon holding the trigger down for a short time, the weapon will shoot 3 rapid shots, followed by a cooldown time.

Finally, just a small little thing that will be featured in codename:ORSM (name yet to be determined):
Yes, mancannon's will be present in the map and will replace the teleporters, more later

Ok finally, I'm going to explain something. This is a radical change for what I normally do when making a mod. I tend to be secretive. However, as my last mod, I decided I would do this and guide other people through the process and planning that goes on generally behind the scenes so you can all have a look. I'm also doing this to allow for feedback. I want your feedback, simple as that. This is my last mod, I want it to be the best mod I've made, not only for myself, but with the help of hyou guys, the best mod you've played too. Hopefully we can achieve that
I gotta thank the people that have helped so far too (the list will grow in time):
DarkShallFall: A nice guy, who just comes along, and is nice enough to model weapons for me, regardless of the fact that we are on other modding teams. It just goes to show how good this guy is, none of that enemy team asshole tendencies I've seen over the years
ShadowLAG: The Masterchief without a helmet tag
I will also try and be doing weekly updates similar to Bungie. Detailing new weapons features skins and the like.
I hope you like it so far, its in its extremely early stages.
