HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I'm back into PC modding and decided to go with a reskin mod first. I've put quite a lot of time into this and I'm loving the results I'm getting in-game. I've got quite a lot done, so I decided to post some WIP pictures. The mod isn't finished (obviously..), so I might re-do some textures. I'm also open to suggestions, as they would help me progress in the mod. I really love playing around in Bloodgulch with this skin, it has a really different feel to it. I also changed up the bump maps as well... not that hard, but it's a hard detail to catch without knowing about it.

Oh yes, and please refrain from commenting on the fact that it's "another bloodgulch mod". I'm aware of this, as I was the one who chose which map to skin. I'm going to skin others as well; I just decided to do Bloodgulch first.

I give it a 8/10 because its better than i could do but the ground looks almost the same

Well... Not really. The dirt was just a bunch of different colored specs. I put in some more detail and made it look drier. And, the grass looks a little more dead. I'll post some comparison pictures later.

I'm also contemplating changing the bg_ground... But I dunno yet.

EDIT: I'm messing with weapons right now, and I made a new recticle for the AR, also made it more accurate. I know, nothing groundbreaking, just trying to improve things a little.
