meh i just got bored and made this tell me what you think. it's a katana
the blade is at the bottom and the protector is at the top. the box 3 is the background just ignore it.

Did you follow a tutorial? I know one that tells you how to make this. If you did, you followed it somewhat poorly. It looks alright though.

nty i recently found a render add on to gmax that gives a built in tool bar tab.

A sword that sharp would most likely cut though a wooden sheath as you were sheathing it, and could very easily slice off your finger during the process. :|

Bitmap should be higher quality in my opinion, and some specular and other misc effects would make it look nice. Dunno if it's possible, in Gmax, but I'm just throwing out suggestions.
