[WIP]German Tiger Tank *updates around page2*

My team and I have decided to make a WWII style mod for the PC/mac. I've made a few models that you can check out in the mac section but after a lot of weapon making I decided to get vehicles over with.. We're not including many vehicles in the mod. Maybe I'll make a half-trak after this.. but I need help getting this tiger tank- A. Improved a lot with much more detail(my job). B. Get this uved(I can probably do that part pretty well also). C. Getting this tagged by somebody with CE( I only have a mac so if somebody could tag this on there own time when this is finished that would be great!).

Here are some pictures of the basic model. Again, this is WIP I just started this model almost an hour ago. Please search for places for improvement other than detail(scaling, major flaws etc.)

Still needs a LOT of work. Also, it may just be the angle, but the turret seems rather long.

if its the tank im thinkling of, you might want to make the big turret a little smaller, just a tad.

other than that its looking good.

Yeah I know it needs detail. >_>. I won't stop working on this until it looks great.. Also, the gun is the right size. I used an image plane to work on this.. And I forgot to explain why there are no treads. I'm going to use halo's treads for the scorpion..

You have a bad graphics card dont you? lol and those wheel things that sit on the treads are terrible. Too.. Smooth/round. Last bad thing I see its the barrel of the main gun/cannon is way to long. Shorten it a bit and it will look great. :P Good job on the rest of it though.

I've never seen a Tiger Tank model included in a mod or with a download on halomods... Yeah I fixed the roundness on the wheels and the gun is the right size cuz i used it on an image plane of schematics :P . BTW no I have great gfx I'm just using cheetah to render I don't have 3ds max cuz I have a mac and I'm not as rich as some people here are..[/i]
EDIT: I'm pretty sure I'm ready to tackle the big details now.

unless somebody else can show me some major flaws...(there is a lot more of the body of the tank you just can't see it. That's why you people think the gun is too big.

Well I asked him to send me the models so I can make him a somewhat decent clay type render...Im not too good at making renders but they are "ok".. :lol: Here:

I got a question..If this is going in game then how is the turret going to rotate if its part of the model.. shouldnt it be a seperate?

It will be tagged in ce and then converted to be playable on a mac.. thats how.. but first i need somebody to do that. Anybody whos good with ce.

There are gonna be some problems tagging this model..I see overlaps etc.. or is that only for BSP's?

There have been plenty of models with overlapping parts. I believe it's only a problem with BSPs.

Also, it looks like you need some better reference pics. You might also want to look at some tutorials. What program are you using?
