Yeah, it's back. Reduced by ~3000 polygons (~7900 -> ~5300), but detail has been added, nonetheless, particularly on...everything... Athankyew.

EDIT: Refer to this topic for comparison. Look towards the end for the then-latest pics in that topic. DO NOT POST IN THAT TOPIC.

Lolpix4u:

Wheels reduced and redone.
Image

Barrel is reduced and redone, and the barrel and bore evacuator are now one piece, instead of the evacuator being a sort of sleeve. The tread housings have been redone, and are now a part of the central hull, rather than two separate pieces.
Image

Gunsights, hatches. and smoke dischargers have been redone (slightly older pic, does not show smoke discharger repositioning.

Thoughts? Rossmum is probably going to be a bit miffed at my polygon saving.

Anyone want to UV it when I convince myself that it doesn't need any more editing? I have a feeling this is going to end up like the Winchester Mystery House.

Something I'm proud of is the fact that I made both of those gunsights out of a cube and a cylinder, then craploads of extrusions and vertex/edge deletions.

I'll skin it when it's UVW'd or whatever... I like vehicle skinning. =)

Don't people know how to use Wings 3D for UV mapping? It's really easy if yo uknow what you're doing...

Nice job on the tank, I'll try to make something later on tonight.

When I get my @$&!%^) PC built, I'll put it into a mod I'm already planning.

+megabump for great justice...also update.

I edited a few things, namely the driver and loader hatches and the connections between objects on top of the tank itself. The barrel has also been tweaked, and I added vent panels to the AC unit on the right side of the turret. ~6,060 triangles.

Thanks to Rossmum for the render:
