Hallelujah! This is a cell phone screen I took when I viewed the ad on my Xbox:

Along with a funky lookin' shield grenade. I guess that accounts for the missing two grenades of a certain type, after the two frag, two plasma, and two spike, which, until now, had only made six, where there should have been eight.

The color is quite hard to see, of course. But who cares about the color? It's got a scope, and looks like the original pistol. I'd be happy with just the scope anyway. First post updated.

if u look at the shape of the m6d and that pistol they dont really resemble, the but of the pistol doesnt hav the extra part like it did in halo 1

Yes, it does. Look at the bulge on the top of the pistol in the screenshot I posted. The magnum does not have that. Period.

It's a differn't pistol, if it was h1, you would see hte mag hanging out of the grip.

Could be reduced mag capacity. Your argument still doesn't explain the scope bulge on top. Besides, the fourth finger covers half of the exposed mag, as a portion of the handle is built into the magazine itself. The other part of it could be concealed by the camera angle.

It looks like a slightly longer H1 pistol. I took a better picture from a trailer I found and put it up in the first post. The extended mag is clearly visible.

EDIT: Check my topic at the user forums. Hushed Casket uploaded some juicy even higher res pictures from the IGN HD version.

Definitely not. Read the topic and check the new pics before posting.

I doubt they are going to make it as powerful as they did in the first one, they even said themselves that they found it overpowered. I hope it gets it's own unique use that makes it more desirable to use than the BR in certain situations.
