Snow Outpost:
this is my new skin for Beaver Creek. I think i did pretty well on it. I just need to get rid of the bump maps on the inside of the bases (any help?). And im probably going to inject some other things such as models and fires. I am going to release it when i have everything done including the bump maps gone. The lightmap is changed on the newer one i have. these pics i took before i changed it. I like the way this turned out though. please leave some feedback on it and what i should change. thanks!!
PICS:
Death Star

Earth

Blown Up ring

Red Base

Blue Base

Icy Creek
Also chekc out my halo 3 mod if you wanna help.

The broken ring just kinda...ends. Make it look a little more natural, and the flame just looks like part of the ring instead of an actual flame.

apparently u haev never been to Alaska... well i lived there, and in teh winter theres ALOT of snow, and only 3 hours of light, there can still be light at night, it reflects off of snow and makes things look brighter...

One piece of advise i have would be not to put fire in. What the hell would a fire be doing outside ontop of snow, a rock. or one of those stone buildings? So i'd say relinquish the idea of fire spots.

The clean red brick wall seems alittle out of place. Mb put some snow on it?

i agreed with kibito the fire is getting changed. its going to be different. and for the whole light wen dark light....well there is a sun right? and its on a broken ring there is no sky or anything. so you are looking out into space. which also makes no sence because how the hell is there snow wen there is no atmosphere or anything....but eh none the less its getting fixed up a bit. light map changed to be dark, snow on buildings, and ring changed.

I think the Red/Blue base indicator things are a bit too vibrant.

I didn't even realise this was Beaver Creek until I saw the other pictures. Looks cool. Death Star is kinda random though 0_o

yes the death star is random...i liek random things. so far the ring is fixed, the red and blue indicator things are now brick on red base and stone on blue (probably will change). changed those stains to look snowish. and now im adding snowto the map. thus snow should fall down from the sky. and it will probably stick to u and the map

Wait...
The Death Star?
Next to Earth?
Didn't you ever hear the phrase "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away"?
