Here is something I made really, really, really quick but once I looked at it I thought "hey, that would make good wallpaper!" Tell me if you think it looks ok.

Why does his visor have a reflection of the sunset... behind him?

BUGS I CAN SEE:
1 The sunset is behind the master chief but the reflection is on his saftey visor
2 Master chief looks to cartoonyish the backround is realistic and the master chief well. isnt try making him more realistic
so my vote will be an ehh... until you make it a tad better

It looks awesome except for the visor :\
It would make an awesome postcard or something, send it to hallmark when you're done!

It's supposed to look like a picture where somebody is standing on the shore with a backdrob of the lake. About the see-thru visor, I see what everbody meens, it makes no since! It reflected his visor just fine but somehow it picked up the background along with it. Thanks for the commits, I wouldn't use it for my wallpaper either.

Not at all.
Even if I ran my computer at 800x600, I would never use that, ever.

The H1 MC is WAY too low-poly to use for renders. Try re-modeling it or something... >_>

It's not really that, it just lacks a good diffuse\specular\bump maps

Whenever I see a render with the MC, the shadows look odd on the armor... >_>
