... alright, so I was reanimating the needler and I wondered "How the hell do you actually reload a needler? "


And so it was born...








Looks exactly like the old needler when the cover is closed

It would be cool if you could use that pink crystal as a grenade, like as a last resort.

That's awesome. My only suggestion would be that the MC should stick the needler clip in with more force. Just looks cooler

WHOA i always wondered how the needler ammo worked. But is the really where the needler ammo goes or is that where you decided to put it.

It's just my interpretation.

It's the most logical place, the needler ammo is normally in a gelatonous blob and is squeezed into fine explosive needles in the needler itself.

That is debatable. The way it is set up in-game, one is led to believe that it is crystal-like. Due to the purposeful lack of smoothing-groups.

That owns. Looks a little unnatural, though. The ammo crystal kinda sinks halfway into the geometry of the weapon. Might want to model a little cradle in or something.

Hmm.. Now that I think about it, I believe that it is melted while in the needler and then shaped like playdo into needles, where it then hardens again...
Anyways, it looks good.

So, whenever the crystal is exposed to oxygen, it hardens. Makes sense I suppose, just seems farfetched. Or does it?

Yea Nice Idea, I alwase wonder how the neddler go new rounds. The only thing is i would make a venting animation for it kinda like the plasma rifle. I would have a large puff of pink smoke or a colum of pink smoke come out when you reload, right before you stick in the blob. That is based on FleetAdmiralBacon's theory.
