Hello everyone! I'm h4Lf_w1iNgED, I just joined yesterday (but that doesn't mean I have just started modding yesterday) Anyway, back on topic... I am working on a mod called "Project OMEGA". Now, I'm not going to tell you guys it's story yet, but I will show you some pics and tell a little info. All I'm going to say is that it has new vehicles, weapons, models and old ones too. I'm only going to talk about 2 things in this mod today:

-Plasma Spitter (Working Title)
The Plasma Spitter is a Covenant Warthog-Like vehicle which uses anti-grav technology, like the ghost, to propell itself from the ground. Also, it has a plasma turret mounted on the back. (Model by DECOY which was downloaded on halopce.com, I take no responsibilty of creating it, though I did make the skin for it in this mod)

-Gravity Rifle
You may of heard about this weapon, it was not finished and put in the game when Bungie was creating it. Well, I have tried to bring this weapon to life in this mod.

I know it's not much info on this mod yet, but still please give me constructive critisism and tell me what you think!

Hold on dude, you got me wrong. The Plasma Spitter's model is the only model I downloaded, all others are either regular or by me. And you have to know that the pics are in it's early stage, I still have to make more models, textures and such for the sky, vehicles, weapons, ect. I also have all kinds of stuff I'm working on for this mod.

That skin in your mac section sure does remind me of Tsuin Taiyous hog skin,


The ONLY thing he used in that photo is decoys model,

He skins as well sure is better than yours.

That plasma spitter is in halo itself.

Thanks for backing me up HK, and yes, as HK said, DECOY's model is the ONLY model I used. Now please, let's all get back on topic.

Pooploaf, I never said it was going to be an outstanding mod. And note that in the topic's title it has [WIP] which if you don't know means Work In Progress (no sarcasm). Now PLEASE let's get back on topic.

He put it on halopce.com, which means that anyone can download it and use it in their mod AS LONG AS you give credit to the creator(s) of the model. Which, in this case, is DECOY's model, so I gave him credit. Now let's all get back on topic so mods don't lock it.

Lol why did he release it saying "give me credit" ;p.

no... but YOU have to give credit no matter what or it is considered "stealing and ripping"

I did give credit to him. Now let's really get back on topic, it's really not that big of a deal. He put it on halopce.com for download for use in your own mods as long as you give him credit, I did, end of story. Now would you guys please tell me what you think of the mod.

My statement stands ; I like the hog skin.

The skin does look pretty good, I think your graphics card compliments it But whats up with the hog model it looks squished.

Thanks, I love my graphics . And it looks sorta squished because I had to rezize it to fit the size of the image, so it doesn't exceed the size limit, but it doesn't look so squished in the real game.

just give a full sized pic with the thumbnail linking to it.

I haven't made a ImageShack/Photobucket/ect. account... yet. Can you post Halo Images on Photobucket? I thought they had a rule against copyright images.
edit: meaning it can't be halo related
