MC Remodel **Update 2nd page**

I am currently working on remodleing the mc, i do not know if it will have a low enough polly count to be used in H1 or H2
due to flaming and spaming a mod asked me to repost this topic
please do not flame me or spam this thread,
if the pics are to big ill repost them as smaller ones
also, this is a WIP so there are still a few errors
here is what i have so far

You need to model MUCH cleaner. Looks like you get the basic jist of the tools though. Just model MUCH cleaner.
Also, put a shell modifier on it when you're finished. Assuming it is planer.

Some parts of it look like he modeled out of boxes, like the innermost part of the upper abdomen plating. But like Veegie said, clean up the model and try to remove any faces / vertices that are not completely necessary, then use Shell.

some of the parts look messy due to the lighting, also they will look much cleaner when textured

Do a light tracer skylight render with shell.

ill be able to finish the torso tonight i hope, and i will try that veeg
i should be able to get the arms done before thrusday if i get in some time
so i should have the modle done within 2 weeks
no telling how long it will take me to retexture though, i might be having someone els do it, cause i for one cant do it good

UPDATE:
You can see the improovment between the old one and mine
oh and before you say 'nething bout the new pics, all i did was add the "shell", i did not add and new lighting

im at school right now so i cant update the pics, but if everything gose according to plan i will start on the arms tonight(currently 8:00 am)
i will not be making the ruber parts just because the texture isn't clear enough in those areas, but i will go back to what i have and improve on it
and i will be doing every thing else that is clearly defined that i can

due to a virus that my bro dl'ed on my comp i cant work on the model untill i get it fixed
i expect to have it in working order by sunday or monday

preform a system restore, XPs have it, I dont know what other versions of windows have, or where the older ones have it

FOR XP:
open your hard drive u want to restore, open the windows folder, click show content of folder, then open system32, then find the folder restore, then the rsty or what ever it is named, it shows a computer icon try thing, open it, click restore to eirlyer time and date, pick before virus, wait for the restore, later u can undo the restore if it messes something up ect(only remebers your restore for a few days though, so undo it right after u find a important thing that u cant live with out it undone)

thnx for the advice but i know that already, and it wouldnt have worked, it was a bootsector virus
but its fixed up now and im starting on the leg now
heres what i have so far
this is only the uper leg portion, i am working on the knee now
