Well, after miserably failing at a BSP conversion, I applied a similar method into turning relic into a map such as the valley. (mostly trees if you catch my drift.) But, it was only after i got the tree into the map, that i figured out it was the wrong kinda tree. Just look at the pic, and cry over my loss

Isn't it already dessert?
Dry wood etc.
I mean, you can't have it too arrid looking. It's surrounded by water.

My thoughts exactly. I was going for a more boggy, backwash type map (even though no-one likes backwash, and i will most likley be able to get fog into the map.) or a valley type map, with big cedar trees, either way i added the most useless tree in my opinion.

nah man make it like sand mostly everywhere the add a bunch of those dead trees then a few p[alm trees here and there so it doesnt look too dead then i dunno, add some old wooden crates as if from a shipwreck add a few seagulls flying in the air. or do something else, it's your map.

SnaFuBAR, not if you're eating it.
And I won't be the first to admit, I've eaten sand.

Surprised you're the only person to catch that.
