Heh, That is actually possible. Although it would be hard to do. You'd need to inject the model of this and add your own collision (very hard to get it to be actually good, that's why I would want to see this done by a more professional modder than your average joe.) and then add all the crap you would normally do to a map. And delete the SBSP and crap of the original mapBrianv wrote:Halo 2 map?
no its not ripped, made it myself at schoolsaddamsdevil wrote:looks ripped, that makes it awesome!
Im really good at modeling mechanical parts and products, its my trade.INSANEdrive wrote: ...any particular reason why you made this in Inventor CloudStrife1100
and you're speaking chinese....MasterChief2829 wrote:Heh, That is actually possible. Although it would be hard to do. Tural wrote:I have yet to see proper UVWs on model injection into Halo 2. I've talked with someone who says that UVWs on injected models should be fine, but it doesnt appear that way, as swapping the bitmap on an injected model doesnt seem to actually apply the texture correctly.
As I said, if you just inject a custom mode, the model isnt actualy using any shader since the MLT didnt say so, and that explains why its all black and ugly. THe hard part is to tell the MLT this texture does this, so you can get a proper sahder working on the model. Also, with the one I posted above, i got the hull to display shaders correctly, dont know why it doesnt do shaders with bitmaps correctly...as swapping the bitmap on an injected model doesnt seem to actually apply the texture correctly
I'll rephrase, It looks so awesome that it almost looks ripped.CloudStrife1100 wrote:no its not ripped, made it myself at schoolsaddamsdevil wrote:looks ripped, that makes it awesome!
Indeed. Very cool!saddamsdevil wrote:I'll rephrase, It looks so awesome that it almost looks ripped.CloudStrife1100 wrote:no its not ripped, made it myself at schoolsaddamsdevil wrote:looks ripped, that makes it awesome!

Not exactly proper, but then again its mostly my fault for it being like that. THe whole hard part is getting the custom model to correctly apply the oiginal texture in the MLT, also making objs very ***, rather have something that has one file instead of 2. Not fully done, but progress! (BTW, it your wondering the model is the Mongoose. As I said, if you just inject a custom mode, the model isnt actualy using any shader since the MLT didnt say so, and that explains why its all black and ugly. Do you mean skinned but not UV'd properly?Tural wrote:You know, technically, it is illegal to post that, because the Mongoose model is leaked from the Halo 2 beta. but if you must know, I have it working and injected, the ONLY thing wrong with it is the texture will not apply correctly.
