Well, to tell you the truth, I've been tired of waiting for people to make their Halo mods for Madness, so I sort of... took the initiative to start my own.
First off, I did not use anyone else's artwork for this mod besides the ones already in the game, and the planet you see behind Halo. All of this is my own endeavor, put forth by time that I spent when I could've been eating, sleeping, or running my brain over with a steamroller.
The original mod was released about last month on a whim of me going "OMG I CAN CODE!" The following is the Read-Me Updates since then. You'll find this gameplay quite interesting, to say the least.

What's New in the Alpha Release v01a
_Recoil - The more rounds you fire, the more inaccuraate your bullets become
_Shields - If you remain uninjured for 4 seconds after being shot, a shield animation will play and your health will recharge.
_Walk - When you walk, your feet really move. No more of the sliding action.
_Haloesque damage, pistol doesn't kill in one hit, two bursts from the BR or 2 shots from Cov Carb kill.
_Suicide bomb from Madness has been replaced with something more appropriate - a stuck plasma grenade. Manually detonated, of course.

_Shields - New shields charge with sound and graphically

_Jump Bug Fixed
_Plasma Pistol - Now offers overcharge. I had to bypass it a bit cheaply, though. When you hold down the mouse button, after 20 frames (2/3) seconds, the gun will be fully charged and fire a 3 round burst at your opponent. Then it will overheat. Same goes for if you shoot too fast.
_Needler Dynamics - Firing 7 needles into a player warrants the player's detonation.
_Needler Skin - Needler has been reskinned. Now, needles show on top of the gun, and vanish when used.

What's New in Alpha Release v03a
_You can't shoot yourself, but bots still TK
_Needler explodes .6 seconds after, rather than right away.
_Melee attack after out of ammo or while recharging from overheat.
_Plasma sword working, now sticking is back to normal. Needles hurt .5 damage, all other sticks hurt 5 damage.
_Added 100% support for Elite skin. If you have an elite head, you ARE an elite.
_Melee attack in the air now lunges at blazingly fast speed.
_Plasma rifle implemented.
_Brute Plasma rifle implemented.
_Skins are now properly labeled. You can switch to Elite Skin in options, and selecting correct hat and suit.
_Campaign now features 100% elites. They're really out to get you.
What's New in Alpha Release v04a
_Replaced 60 round magazine of SMG and AR with 3 round burst and 20 ammo, each shot being 3 bullets, to conserve game speed. Might consider 2 round burst and 30 ammo instead to go with ammo norms.
_Replaced 3 round burst with magazine system. Guns currently implemented are SMG, AR, BR, SR, and Dual Magnums.
_Made a very user-friendly reload system. Running out of ammo results in the reloading process, automatically. If melee or weapon switching is performed, the reload timer for that gun is reset so that it must START OVER. You finish it or you don't get the ammo.

_New Particle Beam Rifle repaces Shark Laser, now has overheat capability
_Replaced beer bottle with Guilty Spark
_Sound effects off the hizzy. Seriously, try killing 60 people. Also, timer for knifing has been changed so that at 1 minute, it says "1 minute remaining" and so on.
_Fixed the loading bars.
_When you fire your rifle's last round, the magazine will also automatically eject from the gun and fall to the ground.

_New introduction
_M6D Pistol replaced auto-handgun
_Plasma grenade works, replaced bat, sticks to people, goes off properly, can be armed, causes people to go crazy
_Generic bug fixing, addressed magazine position issue
_Fixed bottle/GS bug where it unshattered when picked up, also made it so that the shattered version becomes a piercing object when thrown.
What's New in Alpha Release v07a
_Added Brute Shot Capability, small explosions.
_Redid explosions
_Made Original Gun, MA5C Carbine, with shredder rounds. Now, the carbine fires bullets that penetrate up to 10 targets, so it's better against people when they join rapidly. It also works well when you stand in front of opponents with one, since it will go through you and kill the people behind you too.
_Plasma projectiles are visible
_Added Optical to allow players to see their mouse position in-game, based on the box. It's very chibi!
_New mouse cursor.
