Right now I am modeling a High Poly MP5.

You all should try to model a High Poly gun too.

I never knew how much fun it is to do it.

There are no limits and no rules. Just model the gun

I am about 1 fourth done with the gun. 1371 Poly's

Pics should be up soon

If that is your defintion of adaptive-subdivision with bitmap orrientation, then yes Tural.

he didnt actually model the Masterchief (as Veegie rightfully said)
and while that gun is a decent start, it could use a lot of work.

The way it was explained to me was that he remodled it, and it needed no bump, that's the extent of what he told me. It was still 1.2 million.

hence "subdivision"
subdivison tesselates polygons, therefore increasing the poly count, allowing for a displacement map to simulate the modeling of the object.

No shit? Remodeled can mean anything. It can be moving a single vertice. Al he did was put on 2 modifiers to the original.

Then technically, I was right the first time.

Implications say otherwise.

not exactly high poly. high poly doesnt nessicarily mean anything i could make a block pistol and it could be 5000 polys. you're probably thinking of like a high detailed model which arn't always very high in poly

I would like to say that if you disagree with my awsomeness model, I would like you to make one, not find one,
make one that is better than mine, now if you like my model, you may enter in my halo team.

Halo Team

Currently working on name

Currently working on web

Currently woking on map

Currently working on getting members

Anyone is free to join unless I have more that 10 people.

I am the pro skinner and nooby modeler

If you want to join tell me what you are good at and what position you want.

Thank-you

I think that others would feel more anxious to join if you didn't display such ignorance.

This example seems fitting here, "Do movie critics make movies?"
